Shreveport Youth Boxing Club was created by Tim FitzGerald and Coach Donny Jackson in an effort to provide an outlet for kids and families that could not afford to pay for boxing training. Many of the youth have come through this program troubled and left motivated and goal oriented. The boxing club is located in the same neighborhood that many of the kids live in. Every day after school the kids come in for training and are given goals. Many of the parents have become involved by volunteering their time. Shreveport Youth Boxing Club is focused on continuing the parent involvement as well as welcoming any and every boy and girl that walks through our doors out of curiosity. It begins with a “Welcome!”
