The International Boxing Club, a 501(c)(3) organization was created in 1998 as an amateur boxing club for youth ages 8 through 18 years and for hobby boxing for all ages. Since that time, our work has extended far beyond the boxing ring. Boxing is the hook that gets young people  involved in free after-school academic, cultural, social, and service-learning activities. IBC has been highly successful in attracting more than 4,800 young people into its program since the beginning. Former gang members and troubled young people have turned their lives around, graduated high school, college, and become professionals after taking advantage of free tutoring and the benefits of belonging to IBC.
