The Glenpool Creek Indian Community (GCIC), chartered June 1989 by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma. The Glenpool Indian Community Center is located on Hi-way 75 between Okmulgee and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Glenpool, Oklahoma is a highly populated Creek community with ‘grass root’ Creek citizens. The Glenpool school district has more than 33% Muscogee (Creek) and other federally recognized tribes. The JOM program is constantly growing and the Native American Student Association (NASA) is highly visible and active through its membership and participation in the community.
