The boxing gym is designed to teach students boxing techniques, discipline, and physical fitness. It’s a difficult sport and you must be committed to succeed. It will build kids self-confidence, self-esteem, strong work ethic, and sportsmanship. Boxing isn’t as much about athletic ability as is the case with other sports but more about will and hard work. Kids will learn correct stance, footwork, shadow box, work mitts, hit the heavy bags, work speed and skill bags and spar. A workout involves running, shadowboxing, speed bag, heavy bags, jump roping, conditioning exercises, weights, footwork and more.
