On August 16th, 2017, one of our trainers, Ed “Iron Man” Gutierrez, suffered from a major stroke while on vacation back home in Chicago. Ed has been a beloved cornerstone of 3rd Street Boxing for over a decade, and we are grieving immensely due to the circumstances of his current medical crisis.
